ILLUSTRATOR

As we delve into Illustrator I am becoming familiar with PATHS, ungrouping and grouping, choosing a colour and combining it into the whole picture.

Illustrator is complex as is Photoshop and I am practising slowly.

We were asked to create a LOGO for our Survival Toolkit for our Project – I had gone a little offbeat as my journey incorporates both the real and the magical.

I wanted to use a STAR (representing hope, journey and magic) , a REINDEER as I was landing in Lapland, the land of the SAMI people, an ARTIC feel to the logo and initially chose the word BELIEVE. I did then change this word as the end image looked too Christmassy! My new word WONDER evoked for me, a sense of magic and a sense of curiosity which was what I was trying to portray. However feedback was that both were too Christmassy so I will be going back to the drawing board!

Which one do you like best ? and which one do you think I eventually chose?
